We had a brilliant turnout for our AGM on 14th May 2025, held at Honiton Methodist Church our usual meeting place. This was our first year as a registered charity although we have been operating since 2014. All the committee members agreed to stand for a further 12 months and were voted back on unanimously by the group members.
We had printed a lengthly feedback form with very direct questions for everyone to complete to enable us to see what the members would like to happen during the forthcoming year. Although today was not the end of the current financial year. Due to our Charity Registration completion at the end of August 2024 our financial year changed to 1/9/24 – 31/8/25, however we decided to go ahead with the published date for the AGM and will just have a bigger gap before we have the next AGM in September 2026
Miriam Thomas made all the delicious cakes for today which were very much enjoyed by all the attendants.
Barbara East did the beautiful floral table arrangements.

AGM 9th September 2026
Another excellent AGM held at the Methodist Church, with a fantastic turn out. We have now completed our second year as a registered charity
The committee agreed to stand for a further 12 months and were thankfully all voted back on.
We are however actively looking for more committee member and trustees, we need some younger members to join us as it is rather doubtful how many more years the existing committee can keep going. We are also actively looking for more hands-on volunteers.
A huge thank you to all our volunteers for their ongoing support throughout the past year.
The lovely floral table decorations were today made by Barbara East and the delicious cakes were made by Julie Rowland.
Like last year we asked our member to complete a questionnaire, which will be compared to last years and also be used for feedback for completed grants to show our donors we have achieved what the grants were intended for. We are very much looking forward to the forthcoming 12 months and would like to thank all our donors for their ongoing support.
