We had a fabulous time at the Bowd Inn celebrating Christmas. We decided last year to postpone our annual lunch to February to have something to look forward to which was a great success so that is what we did again this year.
Carole & Darren Proprietors of the Bowd Inn really did us proud. The food was wonderful with everyone agreeing it was better than ever and the service was superb, they staff are exceptionally well trained and no one could have done any more if they had tried.
Steve Waters entertained us after the meal whilst we enjoyed a coffee and did the hamper draws. The carers themselves had donated every single item for the hampers and as a bonus Carole and Darren had donated an additional Darts Farm hamper which was very much appreciated.
The winners of the hampers were Barbara East, Val. Lloyd, Faith Morris, Michelle Bourne and Winnie Cameron who were all thrilled to bits with their prizes.
