Honiton Carers Support Group celebrated Carers’ Right Day at the local Co-op branch on Saturday 23rd November by bringing awareness to the community about unpaid carers and the support available to them. We would like to thank the community for supporting us so very generously and the Co-op for their ongoing support over the years. We met so many lovely people and listened to so many stories about carers struggling their way through the system.
We would also like to thank our wonderful volunteers for braving the awful weather and for giving up their valuable weekend time to support our cause. They are all heroes in our view.
The Pamper Hamper Draw was won by Kay Cray on number 28, we would like to thank everyone who participated by buying a raffle square.
Honiton Carers will be back at the Co-op on Saturday 21st December and look forward to meeting everyone then.
